Do I Deserve This Poem by Shirley Standley

He broke this fragile thing

I like to call it my heart

He used and abused me

I'm so determined

I'm never gonna give up

I just have to tell him how i feel inside

So here it goes

Im screaming at him the words that mean so much

But to him they're meaningless words

Im trying so hard to get through to him

Ive made my mistakes

He wont forgive me

Maybe this is goodbye

So i give up

My heart cant take this anymore

Then this gorgeous wonderful guy

Comes and sweeps me off my feet

I think its too good to be true

Im in love once again

He picks up the pieces to my heart

And steals it away

I'm not used to this

He treats me like gold

Do I deserve this?
