Do Not Drink Bitter Cup Worry And Fear Poem by Terence George Craddock

Do Not Drink Bitter Cup Worry And Fear

Rating: 5.0

worry and fear can stealth creep
into our lives like rain clouds
gathering on a warm sunny day

like an unseen sly thief stealing
dreams daylight summer sunshine
we need not drink bitter cup

worry and fear
tip this liquid life stealer
out upon weed ground

throw vile cup far from us
poison crippling worry fear
cannot be torment raging sea

if we refuse to swim
within surge dark waters
open clear calm eyes

walk safe
upon friendly
welcoming shores

A wonderful poem imbued with insight and great imagery. Liked these beautiful lines, to wit; " worry and fear can stealth creep into our lives like rain clouds gathering on a warm sunny day." I really appreciate, Terence, for having dedicated this poem to me. There is always joy in knowing that there is someone inspired in our works.
