[Do our bodies hear us] Poem by Martine Audet

[Do our bodies hear us]

Do our bodies hear us
losing nights?

Lame hands,
leaves,
awaking
words changed mouths.

Cords,
near the core,
we shouted to lower our eyes.

Did the words agree?
