Do You Dream? Poem by Gabrielle Basanez

Do You Dream?

Chains and paw have glued your feet
Outcast of your self, neglected of your teeth
Standing by the bleak, surviving on peas
Is this what you want for the lifetime to speak?

If scared you'll forever be
Waiting for the right time to be free
think of what'll you see
if fear is not among the ee's
.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Who moved my cheese: 'If you're not scared what would you do? '
Some of us are glued to the past that it clouded away our chances of having a better and brighter present. How come? , Coz we are afraid of change, by things helding us back, and by what we will see.
