Does Heaven Have Doors? Poem by Skittles XOXO

Does Heaven Have Doors?

Not long after my mom passed away,
My youngest grandchild began to say.
Can we go visit grandma five?
(Even though her last name was really ***) .
How to tell a baby she’s no longer alive.
I began to explain, I had to at least try,
To tell her with ease, so she wouldn’t say why.
She’s in a place called heaven, way up in the sky,
Dancing with angels, and learning to fly.
She looks at me with those lil brown eyes.
Can we visit her there she sweetly says.
Not just yet, but we will in awhile,
Then on her lips I see a smile.
Without warning, from her mouth it pours,
How do we get in, does heaven have doors? !

To: My granddaughter Haley, You keep my life exciting.
I Love You my Haley bug.
