Does the future look black?
Not at all, I am finally
Old enough to know
What it is that I want-

Young enough to go
Do it, and just mature
Enough to let my kids
Go.

I have learned that not
All poems are marvelous
(Like this one.)
But that doesn’t keep
Me from writing another.

I have enough solitude to
Gain myself, and enough
Friends twined in my spouse
To be not alone.

Right now, I have
No pain, except
What my heart brings
Me, and I don’t have
To listen to that,
Anyway.

I have enough.
And Enough
Is enough.
