Dogs May Bark But The Caravan Goes! Poem by Rajeev Kunapra

Dogs May Bark But The Caravan Goes!

When the righteousness fades,
Incarnation occurs.
The thought is epical,
But the changes are radical.

Monsters were taken aback
When delhites broke the yoke.
A K who holds the bridle,
Thought they, would solve the riddle.

He is not a star,
Never he keeps the people afar!
Threw he away the bureaucratic veil
As he heard the people’s wail.

Plebs flocked behind the hero
And voted the grafters out as zero.
Proved he- cars with beacons
Not a must-when a commoner beckons!

Startled the leaders of high bred
By the popularity widespread.
Hierarchy alone can’t save
Was the message given by Delhi wave!

Hatching on VIP culture,
Honchos wait like vulture.
Headfirst they plunge on Kejeriwal,
But in vain-destined he is, for a revival.

Streets of Delhi- a den of vice,
Committed, a minister to break the ties!
‘Night raid’ was not to keep ‘them’ in bondage
But to apprise them of ‘our’ heritage.

AK was flayed for sitting on highway
But the ‘rule on road’ indeed was a new way!
Binnys might try to pull the rug
Fear not, millions are there to give a hug!

You, the harbinger of Indian spring
Be the leader of downtrodden wing!
Born on streets to fulfill our dreams
APP of course is an alternative, it seems!
