Doing Nothing Poem by Asit Kumar Sanyal

Doing Nothing

Two brothers went to a forest
To collect honey
Elder one sat on a tree
Doing nothing
Younger also thought to do same thing
He sat on the ground
Under the same tree
Doing nothing
A tiger came
Killed younger brother
Elder went home
Said the story to the family
Father said, You did right thing
To sit and do nothing
You need to be on the top.

It was better. If both were swallowed by tiger, no one would said the story to the family. Thanks for sharing anyway.
