Don't Ask For More Poem by Yuri aronov

Don't Ask For More

I'm one of those who came through sacred door
To build a life as sacred as the entrance
I see the distant and the recent past resemblance
Don't ask for more, my love, don't ask for more

I've heard the music reaching to the core
Day after day, night after night and thereafter
There was some crying, loving, I remember, laughter
Don't ask for more, my love, don't ask for more

If truth exists it isn't on this floor
The relevance of search is all I treasure
My hardest effort is the only measure
Don't ask for more, my love, don't ask for more
