Don't Ask Me Why. Poem by Buddha Poornima Chinna Murugan

Don't Ask Me Why.

Don't ask me why I gave up on you,
I still care that only few knew.
Was it my lady charm that stood your way,
our melted hearts in love were now frozen far away.
Not happy to pen our emotional breakdown,
the bitter lashes on my soul shinning every dawn.

Don't ask me why I gave up on you.
The footprints of our past embedded in our hearts.
Just like every fall after every summer to hew.
Though never felt strange when it comes and imparts.
Wasn't easy to mould and remould my agony
in the fire of hatred, enough of loathing you honey.

Don't ask me why because I gave up all just for you.
but wasn't a waste after all as now am brand new.
