One thing I’ve learned in life
Is to be careful what you choose
Sometimes when you make a choice
It’s very possible you’ll lose
Never burn your bridges
Across life’s mysterious roads
It’s hard to go from year to year
And carry such heavy loads
You may decide to make a U-turn
And if that bridge is no longer there
The option is off the table
Even though it may not seem fair
So make your choices carefully
Take time, don’t chose in haste
For rare delicious roads in life
Are terrible choices to waste!
So much wisdom is so little words. I find this inspiring, feel like I can relate very much with this poem. Thank you.
