Disturb not my peace O' flowers
with thy sweet scents, that haunt...daunt!
Worse, thy prattle with butterflies
lest her thoughts retrace my heart and taunt!
Disturb not my sloth, O' silly winds
with thy grating, gyrating caresses!
You rind the confidence, so far
I kept pretending with courage-false!
Disturb not my silence, O' senses,
with dreams, desires and promises
I spurned oh long ago your finesse
when she took my love and gave distress!
The style and treatment both top class, the flow and feel are excellent, These disturbing thoughts impacts our senses deeply and brings out the best.... I enjoyed reading this wonderful poem! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Almost lyrical in its composition can be put to music to be sung as some nostalgic song! 10! -Raj Nandy
Very nice, full of pleasant scenes and sense provoking images. But your message is well balanced. We can't always have what we would like.
I do like this write - read like spices infiltrating thoughts, interesting, well done
An interesting poem Sathya....using nature as a backdropp for each idea expressed. I like the imagery too
Really nice. Each verse has its own flavor. Had a beautiful read.
sometimes anything is an intrusion and no matter how pleasant we turn our back from them. a strong case for privacy. nice write
