Don'T Have A Reason No More Poem by Josh Burnett

Don'T Have A Reason No More

Did you not say that you could never stop liking me?
Then tell me why you walk away and leave me forsaken?
I can't stop shaking from all the pain.
I live another night just to belong to another day.
And it's driving me insane to know you'll never walk my way.

Just like so many times before.
I wonder if there's anything to live for.
I don't have a reason no more
To fight trying to belong to those arms.
I guess I wasn't that strong.

I guess it went too far as I realize I broke my own heart.
Now it's my fear that you are just another nightmare.
The pain begins to tear but I guess it's only fair.
I guess that we never really cared,
And now I cannot breathe the air.

Just like so many times before.
I wonder if there's anything to live for.
I don't have a reason no more
To fight trying to belong to those arms.
I guess I wasnt' that strong.

There's nothing left to blame
As I carry the weight of the shame.
I don't need help
Because it's my own pain.

Just like so many times before.
I wonder if there's anything to live for.
I don't have a reason no more
To fight trying to belong to those arms.
I guess I wasn't that strong.

There's nothing left to blame As I carry the weight of the shame. I don't need help Because it's my own pain. beautiful lines.. the way they express how we are responsible for our own self.. our life and how we are ready to deal with it.. nice one! !
