Don't Let Me Down Poem by Jess Higgins

Don't Let Me Down

You hear the cries you ignore.
I close my window slowly repeating to myself I don't matter anymore.
You always used to say you were here for me..
But yet, where are you when I need you?
I come to you crying..
You say you will help me..
I say 'don't let me down..'
The trust that was once tight is turning lose..
I know you probably don't care...
'BOOM BOOM' the trigger is shot..
I am dead now....
Don't you start caring now...
It is to late now..
You should've cared when I needed you most....
Now goodbye...
