'Don't Take Your Love Away'

Don't take your love away
You are the sweetest thing I've ever known
I love you so much, is all I can think of to say
I've never loved someone nearly as much as I love you
I know it's true because I've never smiled as much on the phone
I wish you could tell me the same, too
my heart continuously spins just by your tone
You are the type of person I would love to marry
I wish you could see the same thing I see
Because I see someone that knows what they want and haunts it down
Dont take your love away
You know I love you and I never want to be hurt by you
Because what i have for you is true
Don't take your love away!

The old year went, and the new returned, in the withering weeks of drought,
The cheque was spent that the shearer earned,
and the sheds were all cut out;
