Done Successfully Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Done Successfully

The only thing that people owe,
Who have worked tirelessly.
For most of their lives.
To finally achieve,
Whatever it is to make them pleased.
Is to tell anyone,
Believing they sat back...
Having life easy.
Without experiencing obstacles.
Discovering,
A crawling on hands and knees...
Had been the only way,
To escape from the misery of negativity.
While listening to hear from others,
A continued belittling to demean.
Intentionally.

The ones who have worked tirelessly.
And for most of their lives,
To achieve what makes them happy and pleased.
Are the first to have the right,
Without anger, revenge or lips to bite.
To tell thoughtless and ungrateful folks,
Just where to go or show what to kiss.
And not have any regrets,
If whatever the choice they pick...
Is done successfully.
With it to be known,
Options to them had been shown.
