Dont Jump Poem by dakota lee

Dont Jump

even though you stand there
at the edge of that cliff
and you are upset and wanna jump
i am still here calling out to you
begging you to step away
as you edge closer
i follow you
your arms are spread out like a bird
and you despretly want to just fall
you hear cops comming
you can see there lights
you think about where you will go
if you dont fall right now
you lean forward
and just as you slip off the rock
i jump and push you back onto
the cliff
as im falling i think of you
how much i love you
and what i would do for you
and your face is the last thing
that crosses my mind
as i hit the ground in
a hard compact
i just want you to know
i love you and please please
DON`T JUMP!
