Don't Tell Me You Love Me. Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

Don't Tell Me You Love Me.

.
Because love I know doesn't exist
That I wish to forever resist
And it's temptations I will desist
I doubt many believe in It
Just give me food to Eat
I want to be physically fit.
.
Don't tell me to dream about you
My dreams come with horror
I might mutilate and love slaughter
In whatever dream you wish for in vain
I just need a reserved night
I want to sleep and snore
.
Don't tell me you miss me
Your passion is in skirts
The reason you live in skits
That life of convenience
A meal Card love negro
A tourism ambassador of a sort
With truth full of soot
.
Don't tell me you love me
Tell me your love doesn't exist.
