Doomsday Poem by Esselebor Ebhojie

Doomsday

All our labour has manufactured
Faces hazards of being tortured
By unwary error, flaws,
misdeamenour
Total annihilation despite protection
It is an onerous prerogative to stem
This downhill tide, festering germ
Inevitably dictates from will power
Will leave an abysmal abracadabra
Prophetic irritability cynics sneer
Your Daniel sleeps aloof in a den
Gospel wagon moves for mouthwatering gain
Our earth rotates, revolves again and again
Every character should face shadows
Retributive galore melancholy or mellow
Strategic mechanisms keep us afloat
Separating grain from chaff, none to gloat
Save your dimes, dance in half light
Universal Creed, amorphous near life
Theatres, Tales, Telltale, Throwaway
Who says where
There is doomsday
