An exercise in surreal poetry.
They say in Deep Space,
No one can hear you scream!
Of course they can't,
There's no one there!
But there is a Door.
A big, stout, solid door.
You never see it,
You never touch it,
Or hear it.
But you do hear,
The echo of it's slamming,
That tells you,
You're alone!
The echo,
Like a life,
Winking out!
