From sin and shame we must repent
Show love to all we meet
Tearing down walls of discontent
Washing our neighbour’s feet
For this! We first must close the door
To where we once were lost
Locking bolting forever more
Regardless of the cost
Closing the doors to doubt and fear
Chaining the devil’s hand
Sanctioning hope to reappear
And faith again to stand
Barring access to self increase
Debauchery and lust
Allowing grace and love’s release
To raise us from the dust
Open the door to Christ God’s Son
The Lamb who once was slain
Paving the way through victories won
To rise in truth and reign
Open the doors to praise and prayer
To serve to care and feed
To aiding people everywhere
Planting God’s righteous seed
Opening doors to truth and facts
To Heaven’s radiant light
To guide and help through selfless acts
Others to gain true sight
Let’s open doors both near and far
Let’s share life’s healing Bread
Reveal the world The Morning Star
And raise the walking dead
