Doorway Poem by Gert Diedericks

Doorway

And through time a door expands,
leaving shut the footprints-heart.
When petals in gaits
befall its name;
pivotal to compounded
inscription of clay,
there stood so tall;
preeminent of beam.

Afore to flesh and alluring eyes;
tides from space and shells of stars,
laid bare to cup in cracks of hand.
Twirling flow
up to ether; sand
surrendered voice,
bereft from stare.

Beyond, between the sticks of men;
grouted flay the fleeting mind,
only remnants rave
in shades of night.
Blinded sighs of chilling colds,
leapt from moon
to slough crevasses.

To Light, to life,
the flow from Love;
adorned the Grace and grandeur stands,
through peeking worlds and playful hearts
a doorway opens to an
inner expansion of time.
