Down Hidden Drive Poem by MARINA GIPPS

Down Hidden Drive

Rating: 4.7

A black cat just crossed our path.
I am not afraid,
though on a dark road
it is strange company
for me and my companion
speaking of our vague futures.
Black cats with their shadowy tails
make you worry with the stories
of ill legacies-
Though it is, ironically,
quite lucky to own one,
to let it run astray,
to drive another's luck.

Phoebe friends sings to make a black cat common..smelly cat, sm-a-ally cat, what are they feeding you? Smelly cat, sm-a-ally cat...its not your fault! So true.
