My favorite doctor does be
Dr. Dolittle who became
Beloved human fictionally,
A love for animals his aim.
At home, Puddlesby-on-the-Marsh,
He learned the secret of how to
Talk to animals, nothing harsh.
Then world traveling he did do.
Many animals he did reach,
Who trusted him to give them aid,
Because they understood his speech,
And of him they were not afraid.

Human understanding's a must
For gaining an animal's trust.
