And just then I knew that you and I
Were different somehow in ways beyond my imagination
And so you strode away while I meandered behind
For a while I loitered there beside a typical street
And looked up to see that it was five o'clock on a typical day of a typical week
Then the gates were opened and a million like you drove through in a brisk meditation
Fearful, I loitered no longer
