When your days get darker
And the nights seem endless
Do not give up or feel despair
Close your eyes and smile through
For you have me by your side
Holding on strong, never giving up
If you feel like falling my arms are waiting
But I will pick you up and put you back
Back on the pedestal you stood on, so high
Days of silence may go by between us
But my love for you is eternal
Your words are food for my soul
This feeling makes no sense
But this urgency and need is a beautiful thing
And before you retire for the night
I will plant a sweet kiss and whisper
I love you with every nerve
May I get tomorrow so I can love you more
Off you drift to sweet slumber
Up I am from a lovely dream.
