I dream of a better morrow
I dream of hope
I dream a lack of sorrow

Is it too wrong to live in them?
When life is too dreary
And all you have is your pen?

Dream on O soul
If it gives you wings to fly
Dream on soul do not die

If dreams take you to far off lands
Beneath the sky
And starry skies

Above the mountains
And in deep valleys below
Dream on O soul dream on

Wake up though sometimes
To make them true
Yes dreams come true too

A little spunk
A little fight
Put it up
It's your own life
