Dream Catcher Poem by JHP Poetry

Dream Catcher

Wishes camouflaged
the transparent wind.
So I ran towards them,
as the little girl with a
bright future. Catching
the white furry things
before they hit rock
bottom. And, one lands
softly between my
thumb and index finger.
I hold it close, as I bat
my lashes. 'Stay with me'
I said, 'don't blow away.'
