DREAM ON

Fade away, drift away
Has life taken away your dream?

Once was sparkling with hope and endless dreams
Now it’s so hard, just trying to hold on

Once was sitting on top of the world
Today you might be praying not to hit rock bottom

Investments lost, relationships destroyed
So many dreams were achieved yet lost

Once had money and friends in abundance
Today it’s a struggle to find just one

Sometimes it’s best not to share your dream
Because there are some, who do not want you to dream

There are some who feel you will never achieve
They do not accept you or expect much of you

Life is a cycle
It will come back to you, so dream on

You may not have the answer
So try one more time

You cannot see the future
So why should you give up now
Don’t stop dreaming

So many unfulfilled dreams,
We cannot stop trying
Don’t stop dreaming

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
