Dreamer - Poem by Clinton Turrington

I lay thinking every night
Off the world and her plight

I am a dreamer
Dreaming the night away

She is dying and it’s us
We should stop it’s a must

I am a dreamer
Dreaming the night away

The forest is her heart and lungs
But in we go with out knifes and guns

I am a dreamer
Dreaming the night away

All out rubbish and dirt will never decay
While all we do is sit back and say

What can one person do?
Yes but what if is it was me and you!

I am a dreamer
Dreaming the night away

She has survived for thousands of years
Yet in one decade her heath has halved
In one generation she could be gone
BUT in 45 minutes she could be saved

I am a dreamer
Dreaming the world away
