Dreams Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Dreams

Rating: 5.0

Disrupted from Nature's frequency
in the very heart of Nature,
illusions of past and future
swirl in the wind of mind
and pollute the atmosphere of the spirit
with unpredictability.

Time fragmented into pieces
collapse at the edge of possibility
defying the present:
nothing exists in anticipation;
mosaics of mirrors shattered in incompleteness,
reflecting the tears of my broken dreams
in which I cannot recognise myself.

Dreams burn beneath the sun;
the time for burning in love is gone;
they will soon be melting:
diminished, undeveloped,
liquefied, and solidified
by the cooling currents of neglect.

Stones sink like aborted embryos
at the bottom of the sea:
dreamt but never born—never conceived;
dreams rise and collapse upon the breaking waves:
screaming and squawking for existence;
but nothing exists with a cry.

Nothing screams for life.
—we die…we die…
we shall all die a silent death;
a silent scream, a silent dream
as a veil of silk vanished in the wind…

Wow! Breathtakingly exquisite write that smoulders in the dreams of living and as ashes fall, death saunters in furtively without our permission, an unwelcome intruder but the harsh reality, as we embrace living our dreams are a freedom of our fleeing spirit!

In silence we walk so far and feel this universe and perceive amazing dreams. Nature's frequency we catch and feel. Beauty motivates mind. We take birth and die. This is truth in life. An amazing poem is very brilliantly penned.10
