Dreams Poem by Samantha Somewhere

Dreams

And in her dreams she lives
While others sleep her head spins
Happiness lays in wait
Underneath the hurt and pain
When she sleeps it goes away
In her head she can be anything
While she dreams she floats away
And she dreams of a better day
A day when maybe the rain goes away
And as she dreams she thinks of a boy
One she just met but he doesn't annoy her
He doesn't know it but he saved the day
When he's around the tears go away
She doesn't know why he makes her feel safe
But its something she wouldn't replace.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
it isn't perfect and it's one of my first poems but I thought I'd see what people think.
