Dreams Poem by Jesse Kloos

Dreams

Rating: 4.8

Some crash ashore with eventide's rise,
And delight and refresh with their spray.
They sway and break behind the closed eyes,
But melt 'way at the break of the day.
Dearer ones ride the rays of sunrise,
And obey if you bid them to stay.
Dearer yet are those—precious and few—
That through longing and striving come true.
