There is power in my mind,
for the blind to see and deaf to hear,
the light to shine and darkness bind,
the cause of just to onward bear.
There is love in my heart,
and warmth to drive the cold away,
of fear and hate to me shown at,
for after the dark night comes day.
There is knowledge in my head,
of wrongs and rights and roads to ply,
the steps by which my tact foot threads,
to help me live in life even when I die.
There is hope in my being,
of a world in happiness and joy,
power, love and knowledge within,
to lead and stand the gloomy ploy.
The source at which all men bond,
with blood and tears of fathers beyond.
