Dreams Remain

Look inside of me
and there you will find
a place filled with beauty
feel inside of me
and know what I gone through
how I hid the pain
and still painted the sky blue
stand where I stood
where days fade to black
and storms brought in the rain
but still let my dreams remain
never looking back
look through my eyes
that once saw only blind
if you could
and see what I see
how I found my way
to a brighter day
when no one thought I would
touch my heart with your hand
and maybe you would understand
what made me this man

They are all gone into the world of light!
And I alone sit ling'ring here;
