Dreams: The Kind I Had Poem by Abraham Oyegbade

Dreams: The Kind I Had

First Tell:
I had a dream, and in it I was satisfied.
I had a dream, and in it I laugh.
I had a dream, and in it I had become one.
I had a dream, and in it I knew contentment.
I had a dream, in it mercy shone on me.

Second Tell:
I knew I had a dream when in it I saw myself satisfied.
I knew I had a dream when in it I saw myself laugh.
I knew I had a dream when in it I was one.
I knew I had a dream when in it I was contented.
I knew I had a dream, in it I saw that mercy shone on me.

Third Tell:
Now I know that dream, it was for a life, a life that is mine.
Now I know that dream, it was for a man, a man that is me.
Now I know that dream, it was fated, fate that is mine.
Now I know that dream, it was fulfilling, fulfilment that is me.
Now I know that that dream was mine, I mean me.

Fourth Tell:
I had this dream, it was bare.
I had this dream, it was rare.
I had this dream, it was kind.
I had this dream, it was mine.
I had this dream, it was faithful, loyal, respect.
I had this dream, it was graceful, royal, perfect.

Emanating Tell:
It was truthful, it was right.
It was beautiful, and bright.
I was truthful, I was aright.
I was beautiful, and bright.
I know all these because I had a dream, and in it, I had a wife.
