As if awoken from a deep sleep;
I feel a deep liking for you

I sit and gaze at stars so blue;
And I feel I can breathe through you
Can close my eyes in silence too,
And I think I'm in love with you

I pick up a red rose
And I sit there and I gaze;
Drowning in it with a smile on my face

Feel feather-light kisses of wine on my head
Perhaps remembring the things that you said

And something in my breath,
Something in my heart-beat;
Saying I love you in tumbling repeat

I sit in corners and gaze at things;
See smiling people and birds with wings

I sit for hours and gaze at flowers;
The world fills up with magic powers

And feelings touching me with pure caresses,
I look at the enchantment the evening dresses
