Dreamworld Poem by Sam Jones

Dreamworld

Rating: 2.3

Awake in a dream,
I reach for a world that is slipping away
I pull at threads long since cut
I sway in an unknown day

I dream a fantasy
A parallel unreality
Dripping droplets of depravity
Sacred silence simple sanity

Yearning for normality
I wake to humanity
Another dream another day
Disillusion is here to stay

waking at 3 am long night ahead dreams too dense to translate into words the heart stutters crumbles wants simplicity but the yearning for truth stays and such yearning created a wonderful poem
