Drinking Fountain

Rating: 5.0

Here the lions come to drink water
and sometimes blood, water bearer
promising for predators.
Every possible victim drinks
with one eye
in the water, and the other in the surroundings
because to live is to be afraid - they say
the gazelles and zebras.
Men also stalk men, men also kill men.

Every possible victim drinks with one eye in the water, and the other in the surroundings because to live is to be afraid - picturing the fear that is in every mind.. as psychologists say, love and fear and the greatest of all emotions. tony
