Mimesis And Symbiosis
Stroll and feel the power
of these arms, walls
stroll and feel the secrets
of an imaginary city
then tell me something I know
tell me something I don't know
tell me why
why I don't see what everybody can see, touch
Maybe we can see what others can see, but mostly our understanding will be different.
We don't all see the same things, even when we are looking right at them at the same time! Your perception and my perception will be different. Nice poem.
