Drowning Without You Poem by Chelsea Hansford

Drowning Without You

Rating: 5.0

I feel like i am drowing,
Cant fight my way out,
I cant pull the breath in,
To call someone for help.
My chest has started aching,
And my faith has gone awry,
The water makes it easy,
So you cant see me cry.
Lying in this ocean,
Of troubled, angered sleep,
How can i not suffocate,
When theres no love left to keep.
The sky has starting fading,
And it washes over me,
I want to let it all out,
But the waves dont let me see.
Im grasping for your kindness,
And as the night goes cold,
In my watered fortress,
I still crave for you to hold.
