Drugs Poem by Claire Galpin

Drugs

Drugs is a thing,
You should never ever take,
It ain’t real,
It’s just a fake,
I like to rap
I like to be cool,
If I injected
My mind would turn fool,
Exercise and sport
It’s good to keep fit,
I don’t need drugs,
I don’t need it.

Smoking, drugs, watching T.V.
I don’t know the difference,
They’re the same to me,
Drugs aren’t special,
They just ruin your life
It’s not very nice
When you have to strife.
Drugs isn’t a word I like to use,
But in this case, I can’t really choose.

All you could so was cry,
While I wanted to die,
You’d better answer my question,
Cos I don’t know why.
If I don’t go today,
I’ll probably go in May,
They thought my name was Fred,
When I was washed away and dead.
