Today was sunny,
Sickeningly so,
The rays of the sun,
Taunted our vision,
Blinded out path,
I would have stayed,
If you uttered
A single plea,
Then I would have
stayed under the shade with you
Never mind the
Countless nights of
Tears and nightmares,
Of the trek of lies,
I'm strong enough,
But if you told me
To not say it,
Then I won't;
I'd bite my tongue,
And kept it in
I won't say I'm tired,
Because I need to find you
A shade from the heat,
And so I push your back;
Stay there, I'll keep walking
for you
