Dual (Penetralium) Existence Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Dual (Penetralium) Existence

Somewhere in the crystal ball
Void of the mayhem settled aground
There hangs a sign on our wall
Urging obstacles to crumble down

Viewing yourself from without
As the doppelganger tics a laugh
Nervously starting to doubt
A subconsciousness splitting in half

Every word said has spoken
On the wayside of illusion's game
Afterthoughts become tokens
As deja vu intimates its name

Then does this old world revolve
Reinstating itself as the new
With riddles for all to solve
Sans the exception of WHO ARE YOU?
