running like a beggar
from place to place
hot cold light shadow
trying to find a quiet
room table bench
inside outside running
hiding from noise
noise noise in ill
run inconsiderate
art hotel yes
management
promote promote
promote painters
exhibit on walls
change exhibition
painter celebrate
on Friday opening...
night new fortnightly
exhibit on walls
exposed approximately
limelight two weeks
roll on walls
tear tear off erase
then exhibit
new painter
with titbits
lip celebrate
hail mighty painter
local even exhort...
young foreign pianist
crowd flock
to hear play
two old ladies?
plus C and Z
their two home
school kids
but they dump
inconsiderate
on poet can't
consideration even tell
in polite courteous advance...
Thursday Old Lady Day
has today been changed
to a Friday but could tell
first time in two weeks
C has vacuumed
cleaned up lounge
who cares woofies
free floating
rare bother
to clean up
more than half
lounge meanwhile
poet like a ferret
is still running
sniffing sniffing
out quiet spaces
to write write write
not play play play...
or paint paint paint
perhaps painter people
cannot read more here
than sentence fragments
sentence strings cut
have not discovered
literature poetry minds
just cannot
understand
what
they cannot
see framed
confined
on a canvas
so what?
writers poets
are not artists
in naive microscope...
of localist art?
but still people
a little consideration
goes a long way
meanwhile
in America Ireland
poets are still
held
in some
esteem
but alas not
in New Zealand
town art hotel
demeaned
C and Z team
are back
floor in kitchen
not mopped...
for days normal
no clean
tea towels
normal
tea towels
hard to find
like gold
words prize gold
noise not written
noise noise hounds!
