Dying Soldier Poem by Hudzaifah Syam

Dying Soldier

Loud boom I flew in the air
Earth pull me back and left me there
A man came ask me if I'm okay
I ask for water he gave it away
But the thirst still there to stay

Soldier that’s what long I want to become
Not the fragile innocent I was before
But now when half of my body had gone
It came to me that's this is not my home

Dying so long, I ask my self the reason why?
Should I try to stay for the this life I hate
Or should I close my eyes for the next life I doubt
