Earache
I have an earache
I've never had one before
It hurts so much
The pain makes me roar
It's no fun being sick
The pain takes its toll
If you've never had one
you're a fortunate soul
It makes me think
How fragile health can be
And I appreciate when
Nothing hurts in me
I will wait and rest
While the medicine works its way in
And I will always have compassion
On those who suffer again and again
