Early Works - Life Poem by David Harris

Early Works - Life

Rating: 5.0

Life has its success
and its upsets;
life has its ups and downs
that’s what makes the world go round.

Life is a turmoil
of our own tribulations,
life and death are one,
which our lives revolve around.

Life for some is restless
with no stop in sight
with something burning within
that makes them follow
like a moth follows light.

Life with this turmoil
is a branch of our own transition
with the death of a partner
we follow with no hesitation.

With the last flickering light of life,
we follow our cord
until the day of judgements
when we pay homage to the lord.
