Earnest Biddings Poem by Diwakar Bhatt

Earnest Biddings

O! dear! Come! See me! Be my savior,
Alone I am I see around in utter horror.
Every day is burdensome to feel the fret,
Every night is delirious to be in all unrest,

Touch me with your soft gracious hand,
New lease of life I would get I understand.
Your love smeared words are like nostrum,
Indolent heart would beat as a guitar strum.

I long for a glimpse of the truthful pair of eyes,
Exuberating glimmer of love to subdue sad sighs.
Exonerate me from all my tyrannies lately I did,
Sinner no more I am I make a declaration candid.

You a beacon of love dispelling fear and despair,
Absolve me from the dark abyss if you really care.
Give me shelter in your compassionate and warm heart,
I would survive in the chilly winters of life’s bad part.

The Sum and essence of all my pleadings and beseech,
Bestow me with love and keep faith I will never breach.
