Earth Poem by Paul Butters

Earth

As Star shot gas explodes the Void,
Movement Mothers Time.

Black Vast Chaos,
Gives way,
As dusty,
Drifting,
Shifting swirls sweep out
In huge glittering galactic wheels.

Matter splashes from brushing suns,
Hot throbs of light,
Chaotic rhyme.

Yet look There!
See that Isle!

Sun-hazed,
Cloud - swirl smothered
Glow of sea - gulp blue:

The Earth!
